A program to encourage and highlight healthy choices. Let us highlight the best we know and if you have a healthy recipe, exercise or stress management technique, let us share it with others by using our message boards.
A combination of website, television show and interactive support will be used to engage citizens to be part of the Healthy Connecticut Movement. Watch our show, visit our website and enter our database to benefit or to share what you know and do as a Connecticut Health Idol.
If you enter our campaign we will send you information, support and resources to achieve your health goals, whether for weight loss, healthy eating, enjoyable exercise, smart stress management or smoking cessation.
We hope to use this as a springboard to get the state to reimburse $100.00 to any Connecticut resident who completes a course in health, nutrition, smoking cessation, and aerobics from the $115 million tobacco settlement.
