Wow. The article about Eric was way cool. He's right. Love is the
answer.

It is refreshing to see someone his age who still has that zest for
life and carefree attitude that was so prevalent in our youth. Of course, the
serious side to his message is probably lost on most of the people he comes
into contact with.

I think the days of great numbers of people thinking (all at the
same time) that they can change the world are gone. People are too busy
trying to survive.

I read an article this morning about how the school lunch
programs and the WIC programs are mandated to "push" foods like milk, butter,
eggs, meats, etc. Tyson, Smithfield, and other large producers of these
commodities lobby the congressional types and contribute heavily to their political
campaigns. What a surprise. Then the government harangues the poor
people who have to rely on those programs for being "obese".

DANCE REVIEWS

Eric reminds me of myself when he dances.  He moves with such sincerity.  He flows with so much feeling.  Most people are afraid to get out and dance with their heart.  If only we could all live our lives the way he moves.  What a wonderful world it would be.  I hope Eric never lets anyone stop him from doing his thing!

~Melissa Flynn

Eric- I love to watch you feel the music.  You get lost in the spirit of joy.  In today’s stressful times, we could use a lot more of this freedom  of the soul.

~Gayle

Your dancing gave me triple the pleasure.

~Anonymous

Shockingly spiritual and refreshingly 60’s, it’s always a joy to see you grooving to the sounds.  Never change.

~Harry Wiley

Eric is inspiring to watch when he dances.  He expresses himself in a unique way in which his inner spirit comes out of him.  It is especially a treat for me as a musician to watch Eric as he adds a great visual dimension to the music that we play.

~Jay Rowe

Eric uses his dance to encourage aerobic movement and stimulate cardiac output.  It is a healthy movement and he is totally involved in it.  I would love to have the stamina to keep up with it.  Perhaps in small doses the general population could increase to a total dance routine.  It is a dance done with a commitment to involve all body parts.  It is a way for Eric as well as others to let their minds wander to far away places and flow with the music.  It is a treat to watch.

~Helen Johnson

Beauty comes out of chaos where there is darkness there is light!  Fate is a river, a series of currents.  Ride them, don’t fight them and you will find truth.  Fight and drown.  Float and live.  Love is the answer no matter what the question.

This guy is so enthusiastic and full of life!  Keep  it up young man!

Very in tune to the flow of music and sound.

Being comfortable in ones self and in public space, while connecting to the environment is a rare skill.  Eric is moved by music in ways that calm others.  Stay in tune and connected for music is shared by all of us.  Therefore it is a place of peace.

Eric- You exude life and love.  You remind me of Leo Buscaglia’s seminal Love book.  We emit photons as the electrons in every atom of our being descend from a higher to a lower orbit (probability distribution cloud) around their nuclei.  Our atoms need to be first excited.  Light and other forms of pure energy are the catalysts, but I’m convinced that our receptiveness to this energy is what keeps us vital.  It is a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance.

~Robert and Olga

We all need you to keep dancing and to never forget the power of movement, beyond words or music.  If we all remember the dance, we may remember love, connections and pure joy.

Eric- The movement master, flowing, gliding to filling every cell causing one to imagine one self as the note being played

~Deb

His feet never touch the ground!  Grace and love of dancing are his outlets to freedom.

~Ramona

Eric- You look like the notes of music yourself; creative, vibrant, beautiful and exhilarating.

~An admirer

“I could read the score of our performance by watching you.”

                        ~Anonymous

You are such a wonderful person.  I wish to know you better because I think that you are a really special and beautiful person.

~Patricia

Thank-you for all the beautiful energy you generate.  You bless the room with love and are a gift to any musician lucky enough to have you in their presence.

~Ian Schumacher

As Eric dances he uses his positive energy and actively expresses how he feels.  Watching him makes me feel like I want to dance as well.  Every movement that he uses expresses a different sound and a different level of energy.  Usually if I don’t see him on a Monday night, it feels empty without his presence. ~Nikki

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME.  He’s an inspiration to all especially if you’re having a bad day.  I love to watch him and feel his energy.  He’s always smiling, very positive and an EXCELLENT dancer!

~SCHWA

Eric brings a spirit to each show that we do and it builds my adrenaline to do what we do.  People used to laugh at him when he danced, but now they look for him and appreciate his love for music.  Eric is very special in my book and I consider him my friend.

Eric- Your love of music shows.  It flows through your bones and inspires us all to remember that life without music does not exist.  You are wonderful.

~Jay and Patty

If it weren’t for you we would all forget that with music comes dance.  Expression for soul.  Thank-you for being you.  We love watching you.

The vivacious pleasures shared by those enjoying Eric’s dancing are of the joy of movement, but are also of his brazen overriding of inhibitions.  With that we all might shake loose.

                 ~Anonymous M

Eric- You are like bird in the sky, a fish in the water, the waves of the ocean, the balmy/spring wind, swaying trees and everything else which tickles one’s heart.  Such a joy!  Your dance represents your lovely spirit, which I admire so much and am inspired by!  ALWAYS KEEP DANCING and nurture us all who hang out with you and are so smitten by your vigor.

~Shalini

Eric- Every time I see you dance I feel happy.  Your spirit is very positive.  I love the fact that you do what you do and you go into your own world.  I come to Humphrey’s every Monday to see you dance.  You make me feel happy and make me feel like I can express myself no matter what anyone thinks.  I really admire you.  Please continue making me feel happy when I see you. When you are here with us it’s like you are a shaman, bringing the whole room together.  My girls have never had a choreographer, but you were right on the mark with every note.

                   ~Fenno Heath

We definitely feel the energy flow when you’re here.  We really appreciate it when you’re here.

His music is so inspirational to hear!  His dancing gives him a great character to what he wants to do with his life!  God bless you! Keep on dancing.

Mr. Triffin- You’re definitely one of a kind.  I find your class enjoyable and inspirational.  You have a wonderful and lively.  I always come to class grumpy and when I see you I get into a better mood.  I laugh and rejoice in the class.  Good luck with your T.V show.  I’ll definitely tune in! You really make the music come alive.  I can actually see what Shaka is singing through you.  Through the fire!  Even through the wire!Eric- I don’t really know you that well, but it is obvious to me that you are an open soul and you bring joy to us all. Do your thing man!  You are truly an inspirational man.  When you dance you are so free and uninhibited and I feel you.  I only hope that as a musician, I can be half as inspirational.  Peace and blessings. The question could be asked:  Where does the music and love begin?  I think it ends right at ones center; about the width of ones finger below the navel.  I think that the music bounces from one center, and into expression: arms, shoulders, ears, toes or even a smile.  In your case, it bounces all through your body and you just let it ride.  You are one great, expressive, healthy individual!  Dance on!

~Bison

Don’t waste your breath to save your face when you have done your best, and when even more is asked of you, fate will decide the rest” Jerry Garcia.  “When you’re looking to the pavement ask yourself, could I look any higher than that.  The answer is always yes. Brian Spielman

~Robert Hunter

Energy, energy, love, energy, dance on free spirit, dance on.  You will dance past us all through the night and into infinity.

                      ~Anonymous

I have seen you dance on the green and at the bar and it is always a pleasure to see you enjoying yourself so much. ~Lisa
